Hi there
Been a realy long while since i last blog.
Ok its my final sem now, a last lap to complete the modules plus my Final Year Project. taking a module called surgical assist technology which is really interesting so far! For my FYP, my supervisor is really a kind man. I salute him for that.
Been slacking on the running for sometime, ought to do something about it.
January is a superb month in terms of my insurance work. Its really heartening to hear clients referring their closest friends to you. I thank you for that.
Would be changing a new handphone soon. Conclusion is that i am not happy with M1 customer service. Being in sales and service myself, i am very sensitive to service standards.

Hi there
For the first time in my life, i am going to run the Standard Chartered Full Marathon this coming sunday, 3rd December. Along running the full race too are some of my friends. They are

Giving The Gift of Hope
One Thanksgiving Day many years ago, a young family awoke not with a sense of gratitude many associate with the holiday but with a preoccupation of where its next meal would come from. Too proud to contact a local charity and too frustrated to celebrate the gift of togetherness, the parents lashed out at each other, turning the holiday into a day of devastation. The oldest son could do nothing but watch in despair.
Then, destiny intervened with an unexpected knock at the door. The family was stunned to find a man standing there, grinning broadly and carrying a huge basket brimming with Thanksgiving delights.

The young man was moved to tears. In that moment, he realized that his horrible day years ago was actually a gift that had brought him the fulfillment he now felt, and he knew with absolute certainty that whatever challenges came about now would be turned into valuable lessons.
The boy, as we know, was Tony Robbins, and the moment marked the birth of the Anthony Robbins Foundation’s International Basket Brigade. Inspired more than three decades ago by one simple act of generosity on the part of one caring person, the International Basket Brigade has blossomed into an astounding collective effort that now feeds more than two million people in 74 countries. Throughout the holiday season each year, Basket Brigade volunteers in all parts of the world deliver food, clothing, and hope to those who need it most.

Hi there
Yes.. in the midst of my exams once again. Somehow, this is the 2nd last exam in my entire NTU life. Had spent the past few days revising biomechanics and design module. I am not sure whether it is a habit or what. I somehow only get down to real solid studying when nearing exams. Or does everyone in NTU do so too?
Next major highlights of myself are as follow ...
1 dec = Insurance Agency sponsered makeover photo shoot : ) .. time to look like " Andy Lau " liao.
3 dec = Standard Chartered Full Marathon 42km........ cham liao.. think i never train enough.
24 dec = jc seniors wedding
30 dec = clients wedding.
Not to mention that i will be starting a Wealth Building study group with one of my long time friend who recently became very interested in affiliate marketing. This Wealth Building group is like a group we formed between the 2 of us where we will do indepth studies of affiliate marketing and share ideas among each other.
More to be updated. Apologies as i had real packed with my work during october and early november.

Quite Touching
Hi there
Was in the middle of something on sunday when i receive an sms from one of my insurance client. It goes something like
" Hey my best friend wan buy insurance leh. she look at prudential pdts then i tell her look at other option as well. i give u her number n u call her? she said ok :) "
Was quite surprised to receive this sms though. But this is a result of believing in happy clients and quality after sales service.
I replied something like " No prob . u send me her hp no bah. but u tell her that it is no obgliations one"
My client replied " no prob! i also want my friend 2 get a product that suits her needs and a trusting agent. You are the best i can intro liao."
Such sms really makes my day. Its also heartening to know that people appreciate what you do for them and recommend their friends over.

Updates..
Hi there
Had not blogged for quite a while. The past few weeks had been extremely packed with school work and my insurance sales work. In the process, i had also come to realise something that is so true.
" When people say that they don't care, they really don't care!!! "
What does it mean? In the course of our lives, we will no doubt come across and meet friends. But what is really surprising is that some friends whom you thought you knew for some time, they actually don't care a heck about you. I had some encounters with it and as a result, i am now immune so such encounters. So the bottom line is, care for friends who genuinely care for you too. Invest your time in friends who deserve it.
On asking Empowering Questions
I recently met up and linked up with a friend on msn and in school. Had a cup of coffee with him in Canteen A and i shared with him this thing about reframing and asking empowering questions instead of disempowering questions.His MSN nick name is
" Will Robo XXX ever get a date this time round?? " This is what in NLP terms we classify as a disempowering question. By asking yourself this question, we restrict the brain to thinking that we can't get a date. The fact about that mind and brain is that, whatever you believe and ask yourself, IT BECOMES YOUR REALITY!
A more empowering question will be
" How can Robo XXX get a date in 2 weeks and have fun in the process ? " Do you see the difference? Lets start to change our lives by asking more empowering and effective questions!
On Jogging and the Standard Chartered Run
Went on monday to sentosa for an evening jog with Joo Khoon and his friend Eric. Ran a total distance of about 7km. Felt really good after the shower, the kind of refreshed feeling. Found out that they actually have a jogger's community of 10 plus people where they meet regulary to jog and etc. I guess it's good because at least for future races, i know who to look for to join together instead of having to find people. Looking forward to know more of them.
